I first met Ms L when she was just a few days old. What a beautiful baby she was and what a beautiful little girl she has blossomed into. I can hardly believe she is already 2 years old! (I'm sure it is even more surreal for mom and dad).

The thing I love about children is that they are so real and all so different. It was a little rainy this day (OK who am I kidding....I had to cancel 5 out of 6 sessions in a 12 hour period!) but thanks to this little ladies awesome dad for carrying my umbrella around for me so that I (aka my camera!) stayed dry.

Thank you for allowing me to be apart of these last couple of years with you guys! I look forward to continuing to watch Ms L grow!

This little guy just celebrated his very First Birthday. The first year is such an amazing time. You start with this tiny little being who grows into a little person all within a year. I find it absolutely fascinating how much these little ones change.

I hope your first birthday was amazing! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of it!

 

I have had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family since little Ms {C} was still waiting for her birth day. It is so much fun to me that my clients start as well....clients...but overtime they turn into friends.

Maternity sessions are so fun. There is something about a mama patiently waiting for her wee one. The glow in her skin and the sparkle in her eye. The way she lights up when you talk about her belly. I just love it! These two were such a joy to work with. Lots of laughs, so in love and even willing to meet me in the 7 am hour.

Thank you {a+r} for allowing me to be a part of this very special time. I absolutely cannot wait to meet baby {c}. 

 

So....I decided it was finally time to give the blog a new look. I think that it was partly accountable for my lack of blogging.

What do you guys think? I personally adore it. I like the simplisty as well as the fact that you can now easily find all of my links etc. I would LOVE for you all to follow along. My goal is to slowly build this up and start blogging each session so you can really learn about my photography as well as learn about me as a person.

For now here is a sweet little session I did with my girl. As you'll see she is by far my hardest subject...She loves to give silly faces and loves to run around. But the thing I love most about this is how much these images show who she is :).

I also wanted to capture this dress and share with you about the shop that I found it at. It's the first chance I had to capture this gorgeous dress and it totally deserved to be talked about. I found this at The Striped Swallow on Etsy. Mandalynn was amazing to work with. I was kinda **cough, cough** behind on ordering Averee's Easter dress but Mandalynn worked with me to get it here on time. She was so easy to work with and provided such an incredible product. This dress has held up to multiple washings and a 3 year old who doesn't quite ever stop. And the beautiful combination of colors. I'm just in love and honestly wish it came in my size. Thank you The Striped Swallow for this gorgeous piece! (PS The Striped Swallow is not paying for this in any way. I personally purchased this dress and just love it soooo much that I felt it was important to share with all my awesome fans....I'm thinking photo shoots anyone??
