Today we are celebrating our little boy's 2nd birthday. Although he is spending his day in heaven he is also celebrating in our hearts. So I thought I would share today some images that we had taken recently by the fabulous Ashley with Ashley Poole Photography. These images show how much love and joy we have and that even though just 2 short years ago our world was crushed that there is happiness and that there is peace here on Earth.

This family....My goodness are they beautiful. I have had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful family for many years. Mom and I actually graduated from nursing school together at the University of Florida and went on to work on the very same Pediatric unit where we became great friends. It has been such an honor to watch her find her soul mate and go on to start their beautiful family. So much joy.

I had the pleasure of snuggling this little guy when he was just 4 days old. We had limited time since dad had to get back to work the very next day but I think it worked out just wonderfully. We are talking some serious baby perfection :). I had so much fun snuggling him and it was so much fun to capture some Christmas photos for what surely is to be probably the best Christmas gift this family will receive this year :). My newborn clients touch my heart (OK in all honesty all my clients do :)). I just love their freshness....How they curl up...how squishy they are...How peaceful. I adore that my clients allow me to join their family for these sessions and entrust me with their new treasure. It is such an honor and one that I do not take lightly.
